Creature of the Woods - Poem

Large and fat, round and brown

Salmon loving chunky beasts who exist in woods

Bears of light fur, dark fur and the darkest fur

With claws so sharp you could mistake them blades

Teeth stained yellow and red in a cage of death above the pit of no return

So sweet they seem playing amongst green, red and orange leaves

In running rivers of clear, fish invested waters

Standing as bipeds do and big soft paws in the air

They can smile

Friendly they seem, especially the miniatures

But like fish we are, existing aimless in a bear’s world

We sometimes hunt them, in return they hunt us

They are so fat and round
